Safe Environment 

Newman Parish is committed to the safety and protection of the children of our parish, and follows the safe environment policies of the Diocese of La Crosse.  All volunteers and staff who work with youth receive training in protecting children and background checks are conducted.

To report sexual abuse to civil authorities, contact your local city police department or county sheriff’s department.

To report sexual abuse by a member of the clergy, lay employees or volunteers of the Diocese of La Crosse to the Diocese of La Crosse after contacting the civil authorities please contact:

Victims of clergy sexual abuse, in addition to contacting civil authorities and reporting the incident, are invited to come forward in order to receive pastoral assistance. Such assistance can be received from several agencies including the Center for Human Development by contacting:
